They could of used other B-roll such as a bit of how the operation is performed and maybe more of how he used it.

One voice over is looking at how a man with a herniated dick can now walk fine when before he could hardly stand on his tip toes or walk on his heels. In the second voice over it explains how the accelerometer is a motion sensor that sends electric pulses that stimulate the spine.

The Interview

Barbara Kept her cool very well in her interview with Sandra Good. To do so she ignored any insult or attempt to dance around the qestions by continuing to ask the question over or just going back to it later. If she had been anymore confrontational she likely would have been hung up on a lot sooner than she had. Barbara asks about how Sandra talks about trees and things that she cares about but she doesnt mind killing men, I feel this is an effective question because what she is saying is as if shes putting the life of trees infront of peoples but she speaks of sving lives. From Barbaras interview I've learned that it pays off more so to be cool than anything and that when interviewing not be rude but try not to let the person your interviewing get around a question.

2/4 Significance- i gave this story a 2/4 because it is not effecting many people and should leave none injured or dead.

2/4 Proximity- this recieved 2/4 because what happens in indonesia doesn't really mean much to many canadians .

1/4 Prominance- this doesn't have much prominence because it isn't happening to a celebrity .

3/4 Human Interest- I gave this a 3/4 for human interest because some people possibly losing their homes to the lava appeals to emotion.

3/4 Timing- this story got a 3/4 for timing because its the atest update on Omar Khadr's hearing .

2/4 Significance- This story gets 2/4 because although this story would be effecting some people, it wouldn't be effecting to many people it wouldn't be effecting that many around here.

3/4 Proximity- the proximity would get 3/4 because its happening in the U.S.A so it isn't happening to far away fromt he reader.

2/4 Prominance- Since this has been going on since 2002 this story has quite a bit of prominance.

3/4 Human Interest- This story would be 3/4 in human interest because of the relief that this mans off street for his murders and war crimes.

Also these sories are more entertaining to read than to read about politics or anything of the boring sort.

WHEN ELEPHANTS ATTACK.

Today in downtown doaktown, there was an attack of flaming elephants. As the huge devious burning monsters caused havoc in this village there was an unfortunate old couple who was caught under the trampling force of flaming sledgehammers. This elderly couple was merely enjoying they're time in the Tim Hortons drive through when all of a sudden their lives came to an end with a few crushing blows.
Meghan fitzpatrick experienced this horror and she says "It was terrible, the circus truck collided with a zippo fluid truck while the trucker was smoking a cigarette". this is by far the biggest event ever seen in doaktown. Also the driver of the circus truck has this to say "It was far to foggy outside and i couldn't see the truck coming, and i guess everyone knows what happened next.

I am interested in applying for the position of Talon Editor on The Talon news paper.

As a highschool student, I have extended my vocabulary quite well and feel I would do an exquisite job for proofreading. Also, I have been on many sports teams and have been captaisn of these sports teams so i have the experience in leadership. Being so involved with the sports community, it would also be no problem for me to get pictures and interviews from any of the players.
